  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 lb chicken thighs

Spices for the chicken

  • 2 tsps paprika
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce


  • Preheat your oven to 375F (190C) or preheat your air fryer to 400F (205C).

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the Bang Bang Sauce until well combined. Seperate into two bowls, Set aside.

  • Cut the chicken into 1″ cubes and season the chicken with spices.

  • Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between chicken breasts and thighs. Bask the chicken skewers in bang bang sauce. Discard the marinade sauce.

  • Bake the skewers in the oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Alternatively, air fry the skewers for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.

  • Once the chicken is cooked, brush or spoon the separate Bang Bang Sauce over the skewers, and coat each piece of chicken well. Serve hot.
