Big Mac Sloppy Joes – Bad Batch Baking

Big Mac Sloppy Joes combines the flavor of the Big Mac Sauce and ground beef to make a quick easy weeknight dinner recipe. If you love Sloppy Joes then you are going to love this twist on a family friendly meal.

We are taking an American classic, the Sloppy Joe, and combining it with an American fast food icon, the Big Mac. So sloppy Joes and Big Macs together in one sandwich make sense. The sandwich contains ground beef, onions, pickles, lettuce, American cheese, and a homemade Big Mac sauce that runs circles around the original version.

Key Ingredients:

Ground Beef – I like to use 85/15 it’s the perfect meat to fat ratio

Worcestershire sauce – just 1 tablespoon will add lots of savory flavor to the beef.

Big Mac Sauce – this is a combination of mayo, sweet relish, grated onions (and their juice), paprika, onion and garlic powder, mustard and vinegar

Sesame Seed Buns – of course any hamburger buns will do, but it wouldn’t be a Big Mac without the sesame seed buns

Burger Toppings – American cheese slices, pickles, finely diced onion, shredded lettuce.

Step 3: Once it’s cooked, add in 2/3 cup of Big Mac sauce and Worcestershire sauce and mix to combine until the meat is evenly coated in the sauce.
