Cookie Puff Pastry

Move over cookie croissants, this cookie puff pastry is a three ingredient dessert that tastes better than a bakery. Pre-made cookie dough is spread between two layers of puff pastry sheets, then rolled up and baked in a muffin tin until crisp on top and soft in the middle.

These flaky, buttery cookie puff pastries are best enjoyed warm with coffee or tea.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • 3-Ingredients – just a box of frozen and thawed puff pastry, pre-made cookie dough, and 1 egg is all you need for this cookie puff pastry.
  • Quick & Easy – just 10 minutes of prep time, 20 minutes of bake time and no skills required.
  • Better Than a Bakery – it may be hard to believe that a 3-ingredient pastry could be this good. It’s buttery, flaky, chocolatey and so decadent.

Key Ingredients

You’ll love that these cookie dough filled puff pastries only requires a few ingredients. (The measurements are below in the recipe card)

Puff Pastry – a box of frozen puff pastry is used, we use both thawed sheets in this recipe.

Cookie Dough – homemade cookie dough is always elite, but in this recipe pre-made store-bought cookie dough is just fine. I do prefer Toll House over Pillsbury.

Egg – just one egg is mixed with water to spread over the tops of the pastries.
